For this edition of Fun Friday I’d like to try something different. Last night I finally received my invitation to the private beta of Storify, a web service co-founded by Burt Herman, formerly of the Associated Press. Storify allows users to create news stories from multiple sources. I’m still trying to figure out how best to make it work, so bear with me.
I will be covering the 2011 Academy Awards through the ceremony broadcasts Sunday night by updating the Storify feed, crafting, as best I can, a narrative about the 2011 Academy Awards. So keep checking back to see updates in this space. The updates will appear scattered throughout the feed rather than at the bottom in the standard blog manner.

Why not prawns! They would have been so beautiful.

Banksy was a great artist at first, but now he’s just a sellout. Exit through the Gift Shop was a lame trick that was supposed to be cool because Banksy is cool. Supposedly.

Usually the directors guild winner usually wins the Oscar. That would be Tom Hooper for King’s Speech.

Well, first of all, I don’t know how to make Ligurian prawns, which apparently have a great deal of seductive power. Mrs. One-Way Street doesn’t really like shrimp. I had a home-made chicken stock, so figured soup would be a good idea. As it turned out, I didn’t get the proportions right, so the stracciatella didn’t turn out so well.
