The New York Daily News is a tabloid, so attention-grabbing front pages are typical of the genre. Still, it's startling to see such blunt editorializing on the front page of an American newspaper.
The Daily News' editor, Jim Rich, is carrying out his gun control campaign on Twitter, which is where you'd expect it to be.

While these headlines won't have any effect in getting actual gun control legislation passed at the federal level, they indicate how high the polemical volume has been turned up in this presidential election.
